It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the girls all wore black arm bands for Mothers Day to raise awareness and support for all those people, both young and old, including one of own little Sapphire who have sadly lost their mums.
The Sapphires took to the pitch and in their typical style, were slow to warm up!
Wyatt being our wonderful home ground, girls are way too comfortable and take their time settling in. By half time it was 0-0 and I was starting to get “fired up”. I shifted to plan B and by the end of the game it was 4-0 and we were all celebrating. I am still not sure if our Goalie 2nd half even touched the ball? Both teams were called the Sapphires and our BTH Mighty Sapphires deserved their win!
