I am very excited to announce that I will be looking after our new BTH Raiders Premier League team as their Sports Physiotherapist.
My name is Denise Godfrey and I have been a practising physiotherapist for the last 33 years. My greatest passion is treating soccer players and I am constantly updating my expertise by attending courses and online learning.
I have been treating many BTH Raiders ever since I started playing 15 years ago. As a physio, I want to help our soccer community avoid injuries, or if unlucky enough to become injured, get back to playing at your best as soon as possible. My services are available to all children, men and women of all ages engaged in sports at any level of competition.
Over the last three years I have also been a very active member of our Committee, as both a Sponsor and Blogger, providing regular information and advice on various musculoskeletal conditions on the club’s website. I was also the club's Events Coordinator until the end of the 2019 season, as now I will be putting more effort into our Premier League team.
I have two practices. One in BELROSE which is conveniently located for all BTH Raiders. I also have a city practice which I share with my partner and manage two other physiotherapists. My city practice is close to Town Hall Station and is open 7.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday.
BTH players are welcome to come to either practice and receive a 10% discount on their initial treatment.
