It was an early start for the U11 Pumas at Terrey Hills on Saturday and we were lucky our opponents were running a little late as the initiative task to get the porta-goals up on time required many hands and demonstrated wonderful team work. That teamwork from the parents then transferred directly onto the pitch where the Pumas absolutely dominated the game. It was a strong win, however we need to be careful not to become complacent and change our style to meet that of the opponents. We used the full width of the field to our advantage and some great turning of the ball from the back line and passing on the wing made it a fast and effective game to watch. Player of the match was Jonah Hunton, in goals for the 1st half, but with his magic feet in the 2nd half he defended with all he had and danced around the opposition. 7 games and 7 wins, these players are on fire!
