Register your BTH Raiders Soccer Club team to the 7 a side pre-season tournament at Cromer Park on Saturday 21 March - it's the Northern Beaches best pre-season tournament.
Last year, some of our teams took part in the first annual Tombsy Cup. This was an amazing event to raise money for Richard Tombs, an over 45 player from Curl Curl who suffered a serious neck injury and is now a quadriplegic, continuing about his life in a wheelchair. Richard’s rehabilitation is on-going but his spirit is unwavering.
The Tombsy Cup will return in 2020 to give players a good fun day to start the season and raise some funds for Richard’s rehabilitation.
This year the entry fee for each team has been dropped to $500 for the senior teams as we look to continue the tournament into the future.
Tombsy Cup Event details:
Saturday March 21 (two weeks out from the start of the season)
Cromer Park No 1 and No 2
8.00am – 1.00pm: Under 10’s, U11’s, U12’s. Mixed and Girls comps. (football matches in the same 7-a-side format as 2019 with a round robin and then finals)
2.00pm – 6.00pm Over 35 Mens, Over 45 Mens, Over 30s/40’s Combined Womens Comp. And potentially an all Age Comp. (football matches in the same 7-a-side format as 2019 with a round robin and then finals)
