Help with your musculoskeletal problems

I am still here (despite only having one game to enjoy looking after our wonderful Premier League team... at least that was a great win!)

To all our wonderful BTH family, I am still here to help you with all your musculoskeletal problems. The government has asked us to continue to operate where possible to keep people from needing to see the GP or hospital for musculosketelal problems. We are classified as an essential service.

There are several options for you

  1. Telehealth is a wonderful option for those that do not need or want a face to face appointment. Call me to book this and we can assess and treat you with relevant exercises over a video call. (50% discount for this and covered by Medicare if you have a GP referral. From mid April it will be covered by health funds with a small gap)

  2. Simply ring for some advice.

  3. If you are in pain and need more of a manual assessment and treatment, I am still providing that at my home practice with stringent infection control procedures. Access to my room is immediately from the front door and you will not come in contact with anyone except Me. Please DO NOT come if you have recently travelled OVERSEAS, have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID 19 or are experiencing symptoms such as a sore throat, cough, fatigue with or without a fever. We want to keep everyone safe.

  4. I can also offer home visits to our more vulnerable members of the community. Infection control measures would be discussed prior to the visit.

If you have a niggly problem, are suffering from sitting too long at home at your non ergonomic set up, then maybe have an initial face to face appointment with me and then we can progress online?

My city practice has gone into hibernation, but for those still having to go to work outside the area I can do late appointments .

I will be sending out some blogs on useful exercises to ease the boredom and reduce your risk of getting 'isolation’ pain!!! Keep watching this space!!!

  • Keep safe everyone.

  • Kick a soccer ball around the back yard.

  • Practice your soccer skills with the kids (not too competitive please adults haha)

  • Watch recorded soccer games

  • Sing soccer songs (minus the expletives)

  • Have a Zoom meeting with your team... social or training depending on your age and ability haha

  • Post on the BTH Raiders Facebook page any fun soccer related activities you’ve done at home to inspire us all.

This virus can take away many pleasures from us but don’t let it win. Use this time to get extra fit and skilfull so when soccer resumes BTH will be at the top of all our divisions!!!

GO BTH
